The property runs on well water, and we’ve installed a home water softener along with a charcoal filtration. We regularly test the water to ensure it meets safety standards. There may be a slight smell or color due to minerals, we do supply a few gallons of drinking water under the coffee bar as well as drinking water filter in the kitchen. This property is NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN: Please note that the property is not fenced and has direct access to open water and the dock. Extra caution is advised. Use of lake and dock at your own risk. Sorry, but absolutely no pets. If a pet is found to be on the property it will be an immediate cancellation of booking. For heating and cooling, our mini-split system is set between 68-72°F to keep the home comfortable. Guests do not have direct access to adjust the thermostat, but if you need any temperature adjustments, just let me know and I will be happy to assist. Bunk Room (Twin over Twin, Minimal Privacy) The room serves as a pass-through between the living room and the four-season room. Be sure to check the photos of the bunk area to ensure it’s a good fit for your group before booking! We DO NOT supply life jackets, so please bring some if you plan on swimming especially with children. Use of dock and lake are at your own risk. Dock Use & Boat Access: Our 50-foot private dock is available for guest use! Water depth is about 2 feet midway and 3 feet at the end, which is typically suitable for smaller boats like fishing boats or pontoons. Please note: all boats must be pre-authorized prior to using the dock to ensure safe and proper access. Guests should approach slowly and use caution when docking, as the water is very shallow. The dock is typically installed mid-May and removed in early October (weather dependent). During this period guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating directly from the dock. Let us know if you do, we will give you a coupon code if there’s one avail. 4th of July/ Holidays: On certain nights, fireworks may be launched from nearby docks or boats, resulting in loud, close-range noise. Timing and duration vary and are outside the host’s control.
